What to Expect When Visiting Our Church

Saturday Service Times

Beginning at 9:30 a.m. there are classes for children (ages birth through teen) grouped according to their ages, and for adults on relevant Bible topics.  Our Divine Worship Service follows at 10:45 a.m.  These classes are referred to as "Sabbath School".  The Bible class for adults and Worship Service are live streamed.

Dress

Don't worry about what to wear to our church.  There's no dress code.  Some like to dress up in suits or dresses, some wear business casual, some wear jeans.  Just wear whatever is comfortable for you.

Worship

The format of our Worship Service is similar to many other Christian denominations and includes singing, prayer, a special feature for the children, and a Bible-based presentation from our pastor or guest speaker.  Occasionally there may be a Christian musical program in place of the sermon, especially during the Christmas season.  In addition to Worship Services in English, there are services in Spanish as well.

Greeters

Our friendly hosts are at the church entrances on Saturday mornings to assist you in finding classes and restrooms, or in whatever way they can.  Just tell them what you need and they will get you taken care of.

Music

Music at First Tulsa includes familiar Christian hymns and contemporary praise songs.  The singing is led by a group of musicians accompanied with the electronic keyboard, organ, guitar, or piano.

Meals

At least one Saturday a month following the Worship Service, a complimentary lunch is served in the Fellowship Hall for our visitors.
